FAQ - How do I unregister from an event?
After you've registered, the green "Register" button will turn into a blue "Click to Unregister" button!
Post new events
Want to share an upcoming event? You may be able to create a posting for it here! Below, we'll go over how to do so.
If you don't have permission to create a new event, we recommend emailing your site admin with details about your event to see if they can post it for you.
How to create an event posting:
1. From the nav bar across the top of the screen, go to the "Events" tab.
2a. Click the blue "Create Event" button to start posting a new event.
2b. Don't see the "Create Event" button? You may not have event posting permissions. If that's the case, submit a help ticket and we'll forward it to your site admins so they can help post the event on your behalf (or upgrade your permissions!).
3. Add details about event: Fill in the required information about your event, then click "Submit." The site admins may need to review your event before it's published on the Events tab, or it may appear right away!
Posting an Event FAQS
What size image should I upload when creating an event?
When uploading images for events, it's actually better to use large images, since small images are more likely to appear pixelated. Large images will be auto-resized as needed.
What dimensions should images be?
Because images take up the top half of the event card, they'll need to be half as tall as they are wide. You can easily crop images to that ratio in the image tool after uploading them!
I don't seem to have permission to post events - why?
If you don't see the blue "Create Event" box or if you're not able to select your desired event type when creating an event, that's likely because of your permission levels or the permission levels of the event type. Contact your site admin to ask for updated permissions or to ask them to post your event for you!
Manage and update events you posted
After you've posted an event, you can return to edit it, accept/deny registrants, etc. Watch the video below to learn how.
There are two ways to access and manage events that you've posted. One is by locating your event on the Events page. The easiest way to do this is by clicking the "Created" box on the right hand side of the page under Filters (1). From here, you can delete or edit your event (2) or view registrants (3).
The other way to view and manage your events is by clicking My Events in the drop-down menu under your profile (1). This will take you to your post, which you can edit or delete (2). If you click on the name of the event (3), you'll be taken to a page where you can view your event and registrants.
