How to start a video chat
You can start video chats from your inbox. To do so:
- Go to your Inbox.
- Open the message thread on which you'd like to initiate a video chat.
- Click the camera icon that's near the top right-hand corner of your screen.
Make sure your browser isn't blocking access to your camera!
Video chat features
Video / Audio Check pop-up - You can check your video/audio feed before the call starts.
Video / Audio Settings - You can change video and audio quality for the call. Example - HD video quality or a higher bit rate for the audio.
Network Strength indicator - An indicator will be visible on your video feed which shows the internet connection strength in the form of bars. These bars will turn red if the signal strength is very low.

‘Call Me' - The system calls your mobile device to join the video call.
Prompt to rejoin the video call - Once you leave the call, you're given the option to rejoin if you'd like. This is particularly helpful if you were disconnected by mistake.
Report issues - You're given the opportunity to report any issues that you may have experienced during the video call.
Prompt to join the video call via dial-in - If the connection becomes weak, you'll be prompted to join the call via dial-in. The dial-in process is completely seamless and integrated.
