There’s a lot of knowledge out there! Be sure to browse through the resources posted on your platform to learn about mentoring, networking, and much more!
Go to Resources: Click on the Resources tab in the navigation bar across the top of your screen. From here, you can browse, filter, and view resources.
Bookmark resource: If you find a resource you love that you want to save for later, just click the bookmark icon in the lower right of each image.
Filter for bookmarked resources: To review your bookmarked resources later, check the "Bookmarked" box on the right hand side of the page.
Add New Resources
In addition to learning from the resources already available, you can also add your own resources to benefit your community! To do so, simply click the blue "Create Resource" button in the top right corner. An administrator may need to approve your resource before it's live on the platform.
You'll be able to choose to create one of the post types listed below:
- Link to another site
- Youtube Video
- Google Presentation
- File Upload
Depending on the type of resource you elect to post, the info you need to fill out may differ slightly. Typically, though, you'll need to add a thumbnail image and header image for the resource, decide whether or not you want it pinned to the top of the page, and select the user types to whom you'd like it to be visible. When it's set up to your satisfaction, remember to hit "Submit."
*Note about image size: The ratio is more important than the size; you could upload a tiny image that scales to the display size but looks super blurry. Larger images are better since they're more detailed, but if you upload several extremely high quality images, there's the potential for the page to load a bit slower. With all that in mind, we suggest ratios rather than dimensions, and would recommend uploading images that originally display as big or bigger than where they will display on the platform.
